Join Us on June 7th for Loving Day Celebration

Join us on Saturday, June 7, from 1–3 PM at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the Loving Day Celebration—a heartfelt afternoon honoring the legacy of Loving v. Virginia and celebrating interracial love and community. Enjoy inspiring stories from interracial couples, a moderated discussion with legal scholar Doneisha Posey of Impacto Strategies, delicious strawberry shortcake by Chef Monica Douglas, powerful artwork by Latinas Welding Guild Inc, a tabling appearance from Indy Pride, and family-friendly activities. The event will also feature a special vow renewal ceremony led by former Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard.

New Nonstop Connection: Indianapolis to Dublin

The International Center is proud to celebrate our partners at Indianapolis International Airport and Aer Lingus on the successful launch of nonstop flights between Indianapolis and Dublin, Ireland! This exciting new route strengthens Indiana’s global connectivity and offers convenient access to Europe—including direct connections to cities like Paris. We’re thrilled to support initiatives that foster international engagement and open doors for travel, trade, and cultural exchange. Bon voyage to all the first travelers on this route—and we look forward to seeing more global journeys take flight!

Indianapolis and Le Mans Forge Sister City Partnership

The International Center was honored to support the official signing of the Sister City partnership between Indianapolis and Le Mans, France. The signing ceremony featured Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett and Deputy Mayor of Le Mans, Sophie Moisy (pictured second from right), and formalized a relationship that builds upon decades of shared motorsports culture and global connection. 

INTLCTR Joins Economic Development Trip to Seoul

The International Center was honored to accompany Mayor Willis of Westfield, Indiana and members of his administration on an economic development trip to Seoul, South Korea, in late March. During the visit, the delegation met with leaders from Samsung, KOTRA, Lotte, and other major organizations to strengthen international relationships, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for future collaboration between South Korea and Indiana.

Indiana Soybean Alliance Welcomes International Delegations

The International Center was proud to support the Indiana Soybean Alliance as they welcomed international delegations from 19 countries, including Bangladesh, Canada, China, Colombia, France, India, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and more. The delegations were eager to connect with members of the Indiana community, especially those representing their cultures and nations, fostering meaningful cross-cultural exchanges throughout the visit. Congratulations, Spring 2025 Graduates!

Please join us in congratulating Ashton Knepp and Brock Worrell, interns at The International Center, on earning their bachelor’s degrees! Ashton graduated from Indiana University, and Brock graduated from Marian University. We’re thrilled to share that Ashton will continue his work this summer with The Center’s Relocation Services department, assisting international transferees as they transition to Indiana. Brock will be moving to England to pursue a graduate degree at the London School of Economics—a wonderful next chapter in his international career.

We’re proud of their accomplishments and excited to see what the future holds for them!

International Center Welcomes Danish Delegation

The International Center was honored to welcome distinguished guests from the Embassy of Denmark in the U.S. We were pleased to host Mr. Stig Paolo Piras, Deputy Chief of Mission and Ambassador, and Ms. Mette Bertelsen Scott, Consular Officer and Vice Consul, during their visit to Indianapolis. Special thanks as well to Anita Lerche for joining us for this meaningful exchange. Celebrating Indiana–Gunma Relations

The International Center was honored to support the recent Indiana–Gunma Partnership Reception, hosted in collaboration with the Japan-America Society of Indiana (JASI) and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. The event welcomed Governor Ichita Yamamoto (pictured) of Gunma Prefecture back to Indiana and celebrated the enduring friendship and collaboration between our state and this key Japanese region. With representatives from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) in attendance, the evening highlighted the shared commitment to economic growth, innovation, and cultural exchange. We are proud to play a part in strengthening Indiana’s global partnerships and supporting events that foster international understanding.

Relocations Specialist Now a Licensed Realtor

The International Center is proud to share that Relocation Services Coordinator & Relocation Specialist Cassidy Davis has earned her Realtor license and will now be providing home finding services to our international transferees. This added credential allows Cassidy to further support individuals and families as they settle into life in Indiana, strengthening our commitment to delivering comprehensive and personalized relocation assistance.
